This chili is quick, easy and so yummy! It's comfort food at its finest!

Ingredients
1poundboneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch cubesI just use one breast
1medium onion, chopped
1½teaspoongarlic powder
1tablespooncanola oil
2cans great northern beans, rinsed and drained (15-1/2 ounces each)
1canchicken broth(14-1/2 ounces)
2canschopped green chiles(4 ounces each)
1teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonground cumin
1teaspoondried oregano
½teaspoonpepper
¼teaspooncayenne pepper
1cupsour cream
½cupheavy whipping cream
Tortilla chipsoptional (I deep fry my own tortilla strips)
Sliced seeded jalapeno pepperoptional
Avocados diced
Instructions
In a large saucepan, saute' the chicken, onion and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add the beans, broth, chiles and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
Remove from the heat; stir in sour cream and cream. If desired, top with tortilla chips, cheese and jalapeños and avocado.
Notes
I don't always cook the chili for the full time (40 min) and it still works out great!
