Light and Fluffy Belgian Waffles

These waffles are so light and fluffy! They aren't difficult but are a tad time consuming but very worth it!

Equipment

  • waffle iron

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 8 Eggs, separated
  • ½ Cup Butter melted or canola oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 2 Cups Milk (I use almond milk)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl mix flour and salt, set aside.
  • Beat Egg whites until they form stiff peaks, set aside. Beat egg yolks on high speed until thick . and lemon color.
  • Stir in melted butter/oil and vanilla.
  • Alternately add flour and milk to yolk mixture, beating well. Gently fold in egg whites . Cook in waffle iron until golden brown! Enjoy your waffle party!
