Navajo Tacos

Tacos are an easy, healthy cheap meal. My kids love when I switch things up and make Navajo tacos. These tacos are less healthy because… FRY BREAD! Can we all start a slow-clap for fry bread. Navajo tacos take a bit more time but it’s fun and chaotic (fun chaos), to get the fam involved and make the fry bread together.

Fry Bread Recipe

I have searched Pinterest trying to find a more “convenient” fry bread recipe. Let’s face it, fry bread is straight up inconvenient but I have a kiddo that loves it and so I’m compelled to make him smile! Although, I began my search with little hope that I would find a more time efficient recipe, I was pleasantly surprised! My son’s Fry Bread Dreams came true! Find the recipe here! Thanks Lil’ Luna! She will answer all your “Fry Bread” questions!

Creamy Tomatillo Dressing

I also, make my own dairy free creamy tomatillo dressing. It makes this meal so good! Normally, I use it for taco salad but it really goes with so many meals. This Dressing makes a salad go from, “this is… uh… pretty good” to “How did Heaven just materialize onto my plate?”
